Dear Colleague
This Circular contains links to documents and further guidance that are required for the C02018 data collection. Institutions are therefore requested to review the information contained in the following documents:
Schedule for the collectionAccess codes
Access codes required for the submission of data will be issued to record contacts in March 2004 when the data collection system opens.
First mailing
Institutions must mail the printed version of the questionnaire to all leavers in the week of 8 December 2003. Institutions should note that it is only the second mailing that is optional.
DLHE and Research Council populations
Within the downloadable POPDLHE report leavers have been identified as being in the DLHE and/or the Research Council populations. Please see details of the POPDLHE file structure.
Records that are in the DLHE population are those that meet the criteria for inclusion as defined by the Specification of DLHE Target Population (POPDLHE).
Records in the Research Council population are those supplied by the research councils for research council funded students whose funding is completed, regardless of whether or not they have been awarded their qualification.
