HESA training

About us

The Training team is an integral part of HESA's activities to support the record collection process. We are dedicated to ensuring the sector understands the entire record collection process; from a detailed understanding of a record, the submission process, quality checks to onwards use of the data. The events offered in our annual programme allow HESA to share and disseminate best practice advice and guidance to reporting HE providers.

HESA has delivered to the training sector for over a decade. During this time we have trained over 6,000 delegates and attended over 90 bespoke training visits. We are assured by the feedback received from these events that our training enhances and improves the data quality and submission.

We offer a wide range of seminars throughout the year on all aspects of the data collection process. These are designed and delivered based on the sector's current needs and demands. Our training can also be tailored to your requirements, with more time spent on the area's most important to you, including an individualised review of your institution's own data, through one of our bespoke training visits.

During a seminar or bespoke training visit you will receive in-depth, hands-on experience under the guidance of an experienced trainer. The venues chosen for our seminars are comfortable, offer modern facilities and are easily accessible by public transport for your convenience.

All information relating to training offered by HESA can be found in the above tabs or in the seminar or bespoke training visits pages. If you have any questions about training at HESA please contact us - we will be pleased to help.
