C12025 Staff record

Dear colleague

Version 1.2 of the C12025 Staff record coding manual is available to view at http://www.hesa.ac.uk/C12025.

This version of the manual includes the first release of the Occupational Coding for Higher Education Staff [pdf 419 KB] report, added to the Downloadable files section.

The release also includes minor amendments to fields as detailed in the Revision history against documentation version 1.2.

Coverage of the record

Although non-academic atypical staff are no longer a compulsory part of the Staff record, Statutory Customers have agreed that institutions should be given the option to return them if they wish, for equalities reporting. Therefore, the next release of the C12025 Staff record coding manual will expand the relevant coverage statements and coding frames to allow the optional return of these staff for 2012/13.
