C05018 Definition of Standard Categories for Publication for DLHE
The standard categories for publication from DLHE have now been agreed
and are represented in the tables below. These definitions will be used
by HESA for its publications and have been accepted by all of HESA's
Statutory Customers for use in their own publications. There may be
occasions when fewer categories are needed, where this is the case
these will be formed by grouping together categories defined below and
will not cut across these.
Employment circumstances are recorded in the record in Field 5, EMPCIR and study circumstances in Field 6, MODSTUDY.
