The standard categories for publication from DLHE have now been agreed and are represented in the tables below. These definitions will be used by HESA for its publications and have been accepted by all of HESA's Statutory Customers for use in their own publications.

Employment circumstances are recorded in the record in Field 5, EMPCIR and study circumstances in Field 6, MODSTUDY.
