Notes |
This field contains the codes applicable to Initial Teacher Training courses in England from the Instance.ITTSCHMS field in the Student record. It is essential that providers correctly record where a student has previously completed a SKE course (ITTSCHMS=7) or is currently on a course containing a SKE element (ITTSCHMS=8). The SKE data collected here will go on to inform future policy and link the outcomes of SKE students to the wider school workforce. Valid entries 4 'Extended PGCE (Supplementary training bursary)', 5 'Two-year full-time top up undergraduate degree (DfE funded)' and 6 'Primary modern languages programme (DfE funded)' are no longer active schemes from the 2020/21 year onwards. For continuing students who started their course before 01 August 2020, these schemes can still be returned. For code 6 to apply, students must be on a primary programme (Student.ITTPHSC 71 to 77) with CourseSubject.SBJCA of French studies (100321), German studies (100323), Italian studies (100326) or Spanish studies (100332) or modern languages (100329). Where DfE is used in the valid entry labels, it includes previous bodies with the same functions. |
