HIN HE Target list
The HIN HE Target list is a list of students for whom a record is expected in the 2011/12 return. The list consists of HE level records that have been returned as 'live' in 2010/11.
This file is available as an XML file or as a fixed length file.

* Fields which do not appear in the coding manual
- NAMECAT - "Student.SURNAME (up to 100 characters) + ','+Student.FNAMES (first character)"
- STATUS - Category of record based on whether it can be matched to a record held on the HIN Register and its status in last year's collection. Entries are as follows:
13 - match to a record on the HIN register, previously returned as left now live
23 - Match to a record on the HIN Register, previously returned as not active now live
33 - Match to a record on the HIN Register, previously returned as live now live
43 - Match to a record on the HIN Register but previously no record was submitted now live
53 - No match to a record on the HIN Register but now live
Note 'previously' refers to the 2009/10 collection - YEAR - The year this record was last active.

The HIN FE Target list is a list of students for whom a record is expected in the 2011/12 return. The list consists of FE level records that have been returned as 'live' in 2010/11.
