FOLLOWUP | Include in follow-up survey? (1=No, 0=Yes) | FOLLOWUP | 1 |
1 Where survey is complete STATUS=04, where survey is incomplete STATUS=XX
2 The INCOMPLETE_SURVEY field shows which section the leaver was working on when they decided not to proceed with the rest of the survey (and where STATUS=XX). If they complete the survey (STATUS=04), this field will be left blank e.g. where the leaver completes up to question 4 of the survey INCOMPLETE_SURVEY = B will be output.
3 Where fields have multiple occurrences in the CSV and fixed-length download files because more than one option can be selected from a list, the number at the end of the field name relates to the position of the option in the questionnaire. If the question has been answered, the value populated for each occurrence will be the option selected as defined in the manual for that question e.g. ALLACT3 would have a value of 3 to indicate 'Unemployed and looking for work' was ticked. If an answer was not ticked, it will be left blank in the CSV and fixed length files.
4 Where fields have multiple occurrences in the XML download because more than one option can be selected from a list, the field will be repeated depending on the number of options selected. The value in each occurrence of the field will be for the option selected for that question as defined in the manual. If the question has not been answered, the element will not be present in the XML file.
5 If the leaver's own student identifier has been included in the URL for the survey then they will skip straight to Section A so this field will not exist in the XML output and will be left blank in CSV and fixed length files.
6 OWNSTU will be populated automatically in all downloads for leavers where their own student identifier has been included in the URL for the survey.
Note: With the exception of questions 29 to 31, fields with no answer will be left blank in the CSV and fixed-length files but will not exist in the XML download. For the higher education experience questions the fields will be coded 6 (unable to code) where the question is not answered.
