Notes |
This field can be completed for students with Course.COURSEAIM M22, where applicable. HESA will be providing student data to General Social Care Council (GSCC) for 2009/10 onwards and will rely on coding in Course.REGBODY in order to identify correctly the appropriate student records. Course.REGBODY must therefore be coded 08 only for courses that have been approved by GSCC. HESA will be receiving information from GSCC which will allow this coding to be checked during data collection The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) replaced the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB) as the regulator for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy premises on 27 September 2010. The General Pharmaceutical Council accredits and recognises pharmacy courses leading to registration and annotation, including Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) degrees leading to pre-registration then pharmacist registration. Valid entry 15 'The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)' has been introduced for new and continuing instances who would formerly have been coded 04 'Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB)'. Valid entry 04 'Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB)' has been kept in the coding frame, but is only valid for dormant instances to be returned for 2011/12 and cannot be used for active instances. The code will be completely removed for 2012/13. |
