Notes

This field allows institutions to assign their own percentages for joint honours courses. It is not expected that these percentages will be derived from a detailed analysis of the contributions of subjects to individual students' programmes of study but will instead be based on a broad assessment of the relative contributions of each subject. It is therefore expected that most institutions will apply the same percentages to all courses and only vary this where there is a substantially different expectation.

For institutions in England, Northern Ireland and Wales the listed standard percentages are recommended. Where broad assessment of the subject contributions markedly differs from these standard percentages alternative values can be returned.

For institutions in Scotland the listed standard percentages are obligatory.

Balanced50 for each of the two subjects

Triple34, 33 and 33

For each Course entity the sum of SBJPCNT must equal 100.

The length of this field is 3 characters, however the move to XML enables data to be returned with or without leading zeros, e.g. 003 or 3.
