Guidance for joint medical and pharmaceutical schools

return to index

Version 1.0 Produced 2012-12-20

This guidance applies only to:

  • Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry
  • Medway School of Pharmacy
  • Hull York Medical School
  • Brighton and Sussex Medical School

Courses admitting students at these four institutions will need KIS records returned. One institution of the joint partners will need to return data on behalf of the joint school.

The returning institution will need to identify the school in KISCourse.UKPRNAPPLY, using the appropriate code:

  • Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry - 99999996
  • Medway School of Pharmacy - 99999997
  • Hull York Medical School - 99999998
  • Brighton and Sussex Medical School - 99999999

In the HESACourse entity, the returning institution will need to include all courses, both from their own and the partner institution. HESACourse.JOINTUKPRN will identify the institution that the students are registered at. KIS records from both institutions will allow linking to complete DLHE and NSS data.
