Initial Teacher Training In-Year Record 2014/15
Fields required from institutions in England
return to field list
This field identifies students who are part of a specific scheme that is to be monitored independently. Valid entries will change from year to year to reflect current schemes.
All instances at institutions in England that are part of a named scheme
|Valid entries and labels|
This field collects information with respect to student instances that are part of a scheme. Where a student transfers course within the same instance, Student.INITIATIVES should continue to identify the scheme.
The field should not be used for students who might previously have undertaken an initiative as part of a different instance or at another institution.
In the future, where further schemes are available, this field can be returned twice if a student falls under two separate schemes.
Troops to Teachers
For further guidance on the Troops to Teachers initiative, please contact the NCTL.

Valid entry code D Primary mathematics specialist should only be used by those institutions designated to provide this course. Where this code is used in Student.INITIATIVES Student.TTCID must be coded 1, 8 or G, CourseSubject.SBJCA must be coded G100 and Student.ITTPHSC must be coded 71-77.
Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT)

Quality rules relating to this field are displayed here.
From time to time funders introduce initiatives where, for a limited period, there is a requirement to track students who are recruited under the particular initiative.
In order to achieve this monitoring potential, a general purpose field will be added to the record, to which valid entries will be added to identify individual schemes as required.
Data type: INITIATIVESCodeContentType
|Change management notes||Business rules 3-6 added to ensure that only one EYITT entry route can be returned per student.|
