This field records the personal email address of the student.

Optional where the LearnerContact entity has been returned.


An email address is not required if the student has indicated that they do not wish to be contacted by email in the preferred method of contact field (ContactPreference.CONTPREFTYPE).

If an email address is recorded it must be the student's personal email address and not a college email address unless issued by an outsourced service, for example Hotmail.

The email address must contain at least an '@' sign and a dot ('.'). The '@' must not be the first character of the email address and the last dot must be at least one character after the @ sign.
