Notes |
A file compliant with the Skills Funding Agency's ILR will be generated for download by providers if this field is present and coded '1'. This is a service for providers with Apprenticeship Standards students, as these students must be submitted to the SFA to attract funding. The presence of this entry in the data allows validation and field coverages to be based upon it. It is therefore recommended that providers using the HESA system to produce their ILR files retain ILRGEN=1 for the main HESA Student return, so the same field requirements and subsequent validation rules will apply. This will ensure providers can complete the ILR and HESA Student return using the same record structure for Apprenticeship students. |
