This field records whether the student instance meets the criteria for the Office for Students HEAPES return population.

All instances at alternative providers where (Course.COURSEAIM begins with H, I, J, C or is M22, M26, M28, M71 or M73) and (Course.TTCID = 0, 2 or 5) and either the associated course is designated or where designation is held at provider level.

If the instance meets the criteria for the Office for Students HEAPES population for the relevant reporting year, regardless of whether or not it was included in the HEAPES data collection to Office for Students, it should be coded '1' in this field. Further guidance may be found on the Office for Students website. For example, the 2015/16 Student record would relate to the HEAPES15 return.
