    Additional information

XJACS201 is derived in both the Student record (Cyy051) and AP student record (Cyy054). In the Student record it sits on both the Cyy051_SJ and Cyy051_CO tables, created from the XJACS01 and MODSBJ fields respectively. In the AP student record it sits on only the Cyy051_SJ table, created from that record's XJACS01 field.

Please note: XJACS01 on the _SJ tables differs from MODSBJ on the _CO table in that the former field permits the return of generic subjects (those ending in '000'), whilst the latter does not. Valid entries A0, B0, C0, D0, F0, H0, K0, L0, M0, N0, P0, Q0, V0, W0 and X0 cannot be derived from MODSBJ as a result.

From 2012/13 the underlying JACS subject coding frame adopted the JACS3 subject codes.
