This table holds the summed value of all InstancePeriod.STULOAD values for an instance. It is designed to allow analysis by intensity of study, represented by student load, rather than by headcount or apportioned numbers; it is particularly significant for analysing part-time load.

For instance periods which straddle a reporting year the InstancePeriod.STULOAD value reflects only the FTE element for the reporting period in question. Thus an aggregated total of InstancePeriod.STULOAD values across all instance periods in a collection will reflect the full time equivalence of the reporting period only.

Technical Specification

Link all InstancePeriods submitted using InstanceKEY. Sum the values of the STULOAD fields on all linked InstancePeriods.

The format of XFTE01 is 000.0 (reported to one decimal place).
