| Early July 2022 | GMC to email existing medical school contacts with collection notice, including request for updated ASSESSMENT table and sample spreadsheets, and asking that they confirm contacts for this year’s collection. |
| 31 August 2022 | Deadline to submit ASSESSMENT return and de-identified copies of the exam board and upload spreadsheets to the GMC by using GMC Connect. |
| August - September 2022 |
If required / requested a video call with GMC to: a) confirm the details of the assessment table return b) run through any queries with providers |
| August - September 2022 | HESA will confirm contacts and access requirements for the HESA Data Collection System. |
| Early September 2022 | Data collection system opens |
| 30 November 2022 | Final approval deadline |
| Second quarter of 2023 | Evaluation of the 2021/22 return. Schools will be asked to provide feedback to GMC. |
| Second quarter of 2023 | Data available for successful UKMED research applications. |
