In most cases, this date is expected to be contained within the StudentCourseSession.


The exceptions are:



  • Where SessionStatus.STATUSCHANGEDTO is 04 Writing-up and the student is continuing to write up following being moved to a writing up status in a previous StudentCourseSession. In this case the date should always reflect the date on which the student moved to writing up, even if this is in a previous StudentCourseSession.

  • Where the student goes dormant between StudentCourseSession. Please see example 4 in the Dormancy Scenarios guidance document.
