Post-implementation review

This review follows the implementation of changes resulting from a major review.

The aim is to evaluate whether the benefits identified by the business case have been realised, and to make any further adjustments necessary to ensure or improve delivery.

An open consultation will be issued to gather feedback on how well the benefits identified in the business case have been realised.

Stakeholders who took part in the major review may be invited to take part in the post-implementation review process.

If a requirement for further work is identified, this will be analysed and normally pursued through a process similar to an annual update.

If the scope of work identified is extensive or if there are new material factors that must be taken into account, it may be necessary to produce a revised or new business case or to determine that a further major review is required.
