  • In 2014/15 there were 124,575 EU domicile students studying at UK HE providers - 5.5% of the total student population.
  • In 2014/15 there were 34,635 EU nationality academic staff working at UK HE providers - 16.3% of all academic staff.
  • EU government bodies accounted for £725 million (12%) of research grants and contracts income for UK HE providers in 2014/15.
