Introduction to the HESA Student Alternative Record (C21054)

This CPD-accredited training course offers an introduction to the Student Alternative record and provides an overview of the entire data collection process. It is ideal for colleagues new to the Student Alternative record and will cover the key concepts behind the record as well as the entities and key data items; validation; and submission of Student Alternative data. It also covers updates to the record, reflective of recent changes.

Learning objectives:

  • Understand the key concepts underpinning HESA data collection and submission
  • Define key data items relating to the Student Alternative record
  • Identify how to validate and process data on HESA systems
  • Access online resources to support your data submission

Upon successful completion you will receive a CPD certificate for your records. For us to be able to issue you with a certificate please ensure the name you log in with, and that which is connected to your e-learning account, is your full name.

This CPD activity equates to 1.5 CPD hours.
