The University of Wales Trinity Saint David misreported the domicile of 224 full-time postgraduate students within their 2011/12 Student return in error. These students have been coded as UK domiciled rather than non-EU domiciled and as such would normally be excluded from the majority of published DLHE data. These students were not surveyed and therefore the postgraduate full-time UK domiciled student response rate for University of Wales Trinity Saint David has been affected.
Employment activity (2015/16)
In 2015/16, King's College London misreported 145 leavers as being in further study whereas the majority were actually in employment.
Qualifiers population - alternative providers (2015/16)
London College of Business Sciences and Christie's Education Limited had no qualifiers in 2015/16, and therefore no DLHE data.
Qualifiers population - Social work leavers (2012/13)
Sheffield Hallam University excluded in error 70 students from their qualifiers population in 2012/13. This affects their Full-time First degree in Social Work data. It will also affect overall institutional statistics but it will have a marked impact on any leaver or qualification statistics covering the Social Work subject of study.
The University of Buckingham has a high proportion of leavers that were employed but declined to provide salary information in 2012/13 (71%). These leavers are shown in the data as having an unknown salary.
University of Wales Trinity Saint David has a high proportion of leavers that were employed but declined to provide salary information in 2012/13 (76%). These leavers are shown in the data as having an unknown salary.
SOCDLHE and TYPEQUAL codes (2014/15)
The University of Southampton has miscoded SOC DLHE codes for 44 records and TYPEQUAL for 17 records. This particularly has an impact on the Professional/Non-Professional marker and as a result, any calculations on positive/negative destinations.
Teach out - alternative providers (2015/16)
EThames Graduate School Limited, City of London College, London School of Business and Finance and West London College were on teach out at the point the 2015/16 DLHE data was collected. This means that new students were unable to access student support, but existing students were able to continue their studies with access to funding until completing. As a result, DLHE data was not expected to be returned.
Undergraduate student numbers (2015/16)
In 2015/16, The University of Surrey incorrectly reported approximately 190 Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedic Medicine undergraduate students as being dormant. They were in fact qualifiers. Due to being marked as dormant, these qualifiers were excluded from the DLHE target population and therefore not surveyed.
