  • Teaching area covered by the Space Utilisation Survey (2012/13)

The Institute of Education has not returned a figure for SMTESUS - Teaching area covered by the Space Utilisation Survey within their 2012/13 Estates Management record return. They have confirmed that this is due to the provider not having undertaken a recent space utilisation survey and therefore they do not hold sufficiently detailed data on which to calculate their centrally controlled teaching space.

King's College London has reported that the significant decrease to data item BNIATE - Teaching not offices percentage of all NIA (net internal area) used for timetabled teaching from 45.3% in 2011/12 to 8% in 2012/13 was due to errors being made in the interpretation of the data item in 2011/12 and before. This figure was previously reported as a percentage of the NIA teaching not offices rather than all NIA used for timetabled teaching.

  • Waste mass (2021/22)

In 2021/22, there were significant reductions observed in the values reported by The University of Leeds for measures related to waste mass across various fields. Over the past few years, construction has been the primary contributor to waste mass. However, with the completion of major construction projects and no new projects initiated, there have been genuine reductions in waste levels.
