Until 2019/20 figures for Oxford Brookes included students where their study may ultimately lead to an Oxford Brookes award but prior to their decision to complete study for this award. From 2019/20 only the elements directly assessed by Oxford Brookes University are included in the return meaning students are only included once they are confirmed to be studying for an Oxford Brookes award, and this accounts for the reduction of 256,450 students between 2018/19 and 2019/20.
