For providers in Wales, the SLC will have this information for students who apply for student finance so this field is not required if the Student Support Number (Student.SSN) is returned. It is required for all students not applying for student finance.

Code 10 'Pre-Sept 2012 regime' applies to those students who started pre-September 2012 and, hence, are not covered by the new fee regime.

Code 10 'Pre-Sept 2012 regime' should also be used for students starting at the provider in 2012 who are not under the new fee regime.
