We are writing to provide a Data Futures programme update and requirements for the 2022/23 collection.
HESA Data Platform now live
The Data Futures programme is pleased to announce the HESA Data Platform (HDP) is now live and open for providers to submit data. The HDP launch marks a technological milestone in our sector-wide transformation programme for higher education (HE) data.
Jisc has been the Data Futures technical delivery partner since March 2020 and HESA merged with Jisc in October 2022.

Higher Education Staff Data 2021/22
The number of academic staff employed at UK higher education providers grew by 4% in 2021/22, matching the 4% rise in the number of students. The number of EU nationality academic staff fell by 1% while the number of non-EU nationality staff grew by 9%.
