Which learners and learning aims is employment status data collected for?
LearnerEmploymentStatus.EMPSTAT and LearnerEmploymentStatus.DATEEMPSTATAPP must be completed on all Employment Status records. LearnerEmploymentStatus.DATEEMPSTATAPP indicates the date the employment status was confirmed to apply. It is not necessarily the date on which the employment status changed. The Employment status monitoring fields required are dependent on what is recorded in LearnerEmploymentStatus.EMPSTAT. Providers should check to make sure that the correct data has been gathered. When to collect employment status data from learners Data about a learner’s employment status prior to enrolment should be collected in all cases when a learner first enrols with a provider. Traineeships work placements Employment status records should not be used from 2014/2015 to collect data about Traineeship work placements. Data about the work placement employer must be recorded in the Work Placement entity. |
