Notes |
The sum of REFData.UOAPCNT must equal 100 for each instance in which it occurs. Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) and Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) studentsREFData.COLPROV should be returned where the student has a funded (or partially funded) place as part of a Doctoral Training Partnership or Centre for Doctoral Training at the provider. In the case of students at partnerships where the application and administration is handled jointly with no concept of a single provider responsible for the student’s teaching/supervision students should still be returned by a single provider for their entire programme to prevent double-counting. The majority of the consortia involved in this type of provision have the concept of a 'lead provider’ for individual students. Where applicable, this provider alone should be responsible for returning the student to HESA for their entire programme. Where no such concept exists, a single provider should be nominated from amongst the consortia for this purpose. The lead provider should return the UKPRN for all other providers involved in the partnership in this field, along with associated values in the REFData.UOA2014 and REFData.UOAPCNT fields. Collaborative arrangements in ScotlandFor providers in Scotland, REFData.COLPROV should be returned where the student has a funded (or partially funded) place as part of a research pool or one of the two pan-Scottish graduate schools in the Social Science and in the Arts and Humanities at the provider. The lead provider should return the UKPRN for all other providers involved in the partnership in this field, along with associated values in the REFData.UOA2014 and REFData.UOAPCNT fields. Where a student is not participating in one of the above arrangements then REFData.COLPROV should not be returned. |
