This field contains the codes applicable to Initial Teacher Training courses in England from the Instance.ITTSCHMS field in the Student record. Code 2 in this field will identify where the student has previously completed a SAS scheme. It is essential that providers correctly record where a student has previously completed a SKE course (ITTSCHMS=7) or is currently on a course containing a SKE element (ITTSCHMS=8). The SKE data collected here will go on to inform future policy and link the outcomes of SKE students to the wider school workforce. For code 6 to apply, students must be on a primary programme (Student.ITTPHSC 71 to 77) with CourseSubject.SBJCA of French (R100), German (R200), Italian (R300) or Spanish (R400) or Other Modern Languages (R900). Where NCTL is used below, it includes previous bodies with the same functions. |
