Liverpool Hope University incorrectly returned their Other works waste mass recycled (t) for 2015/16. The accurate data entry is 118.330 tonnes.

Waste Mass

King's College London have made us aware that following a review of their 2014/15 Waste Mass returns, they have made the following recalculations:

Total renewable energy generated onsite or offsite

In 2014/15, Swansea University have confirmed that they incorrectly reported their (EREGONF) Total renewable energy generated onsite or offsite as 42,160.000 kwh. Their value for Total renewable energy generated onsite or offsite should have been 193,384 kwh.

Scope 1 and 2 carbon emission baseline

The baseline and other Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions reporting units are inconsistent within EMR. University of Leicester have misreported the units in which Scope 1 and 2 carbon emission baseline for 2005 is measured in the 2012/13 - 2014/15 EMR returns. This field was returned in kilograms instead of in tonnes.

Kingston University have misreported their Scope 1 and 2 carbon emission baseline for 2005 figure in the 2014/15 EMR return. The corrected figure for this field is: 12,873.

Percentage of renewable energy purchased through green tariffs (2014/15)

The University of Worcester have misreported their percentage of renewable energy purchased through green tariffs in the 2014/15 EMR return. In 2014/15 and for the past two years, they have procured all their electricity from 100% renewable sources.

Generation of electricity exported to grid (2014/15)

Manchester Metropolitan University have misreported their Generation of electricity exported to grid in the 2014/15 Estates Management record return. They submitted the figure of 1821 kWh when this should be 0 as they do not export any electricity to grid.

Scope 1 and 2 carbon emission baseline (2012/13 - 2014/15)

University of Leicester have misreported the units in which Scope 1 and 2 carbon emission baseline for 2005 is measured in the 2012/13 - 2014/15 Estates Management record returns. This field was returned in kilograms instead of in tonnes.

Water consumption (2011/12)

The Water consumption figure (D38b.C01) for The University of Strathclyde appears blank within their data, this is due to a component part of this total being returned blank rather than zero. The figures should be:

D38b.C13: Water consumption Total Non-Residential (m3) = 242093

D38b.C14: Water consumption Residential (m3) = 0

D38b.C01: Water consumption Total HEI (m3) = 242093

DEFRA conversion factor (2011/12)

In their 2011/12 Estates Management Statistics return, the University of Dundee used an old DEFRA conversion factor of 0.18322 instead of the up-to-date factor of 0.18521 resulting in a 1% discrepancy. The corrected figure is 6,746,852.105 Kg CO2.

Sum of Non-residential GIA (D11(C13)) in DEC or EPC category E (2011/12)

The University of Keele misreported D78e.C13: Sum of non-residential GIA (D11(C13)) in DEC or EPC category E Total non-residential in their 2011/12 Estate Management Statistics return. The figure has been suppressed from the main table. The corrected figure is as follows:

D78e.C13: Sum of Non-Residential GIA (D11(C13)) in DEC or EPC category E Total Non-Residential (m2) = 13412 m2.

D38c.C01b: Energy emissions Total HEI – Gas .
