HE Provider Data: Finance – Open data release 2020/21

Data on the finances of higher education providers has been updated with information from 61 English providers.

The additions to the open data publication HE Provider Data: Finance include providers in England whose financial year-end dates were between August and December 2020.

The release includes new data on the income and expenditure of 61 English higher education providers as well as their balance sheets, cash flow and capital expenditure. Information about senior staff pay in 2020/21 is also available for the majority of these providers. The data was collected by the Office for Students.

2019/20 data for a further 8 HE providers was submitted to OfS and is included in today’s release.

Notes

1. HE Provider Data: Finance will be updated with data for the majority of UK HE providers (those with financial year end dates of January to July 2021) in Summer 2022.
