Annual first release of student enrolment and qualifications data for 2020/21.

The COVID-19 outbreak was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization on 11 March 2020, roughly two thirds of the way through the 2019/20 academic year.

The first release of HESA student data for the 2020/21 academic year shows a 9% increase in overall student numbers. This includes an 11% increase in part-time student numbers.
