Notification log

This document summarises all communications associated with the GMC Assessment record 2020/21 collection, from first publication of known changes to the record through to collection closure. Please refer to the Revision history document for full technical list of changes to the specifications.

HESA issue regular communications during the life of a collection:

Circulars: announcements to interested parties concerning or issues relating to the collection. Circulars are always made available on the HESA website for later reference, and emailed out to the mailgroup for the collection.
Coding manual release overviews: these document iterative changes to the technical documentation that define the form of the data to be submitted, as well as being a place to host resources associated with collecting that data.

2023-03-28 Manual release - version 1.6

2021-10-08 Manual release - version 1.5

Guidance updates have been made to the GMC Assessment collection – FAQs.

2021-09-20 Manual release - version 1.4

This release of the coding manual includes the following:

A link has been added to the support guide.

2021-09-08 Manual release - version 1.3

This release of the coding manual includes the following:

Additional guidance has been added to the Coverage of the record.
First release of the GMC Assessment collection – FAQs has been added under the 'submission process and quality assurance' section.

2021-06-23 Manual release - version 1.2

This release of the coding manual includes the following:

The section 'video call with GMC' within the Data collection schedule has been amended from 'January/February 2021' to 'January - June 2021'. Additionally the date '19th November 2021 - Final data sent' has been removed and the date '30th November - Sign off' has been updated to '30th November - Final approval'.

2020-11-18 Manual release - version 1.1

This release of the coding manual includes the following:

The collection name has been updated from “Assessment Data record 2020/21” to “GMC Assessment record 2020/21".

2020-10-23 Manual release - version 1.0
