| Notes | The SessionYear identifier is defined by the reporting provider and must be unique. This identifier is then returned in the relevant StudentCourseSession.SESSIONYEARID to associate StudentCourseSessions with the relevant SessionYear. Providers should keep identifiers consistent across collections wherever possible. If identifiers do need to be changed, this cannot be done if the SessionYear has been associated with a student in any of the previous three collections. This includes where a dormant student was associated with the SessionYear before going dormant, even if they were not returned since becoming dormant. I.e. the ID can only be changed three reference periods after all associated Engagements have been closed. |
