This CPD-accredited training course has been designed to provide you with an overview of the Student Record and Student data model. It is suitable for anyone wishing to gain an understanding of the entities, relationships and data fields.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the key entities at a high level within the Student data model
  • Understand relationships between entities and the flow of data
  • Describe the usage of specific data items

This CPD accredited course has been designed to provide you with an understanding of the HESA Data Platform (HDP) and to support users with their statutory data submission for the Student Record. It is suitable for anyone who will be involved with the submission or quality assurance of this record.

Learning Objectives:

  • Know how to access the HDP through IDS and MFA.
  • Recognise the capability of the HDP system and integration of the IMS.
  • Understand how to request a tolerance change.
  • Know how to complete the submission process from uploading a file to sign-off.
  • Access online resources to support your data submission.

It is suitable for anyone who will be involved with the submission or quality assurance of this record.

Learning Objectives:

  • List the systems used for the submission and quality assurance of the Student record.
  • Understand how to use the Data Entry Tool.
  • Name the stages of quality assurance the OVT facilitates.
  • Know how to use the SID Calculator to generate a SID.
