Student Alternative Record 2021/22 (C21054): Notification of Changes

The new sitting code ‘A’ – Autumn will be added to the list of valid entries. This will align the coding frame with the updates made by UCAS to reflect the option made available to students to sit exams in autumn 2020.

The coverage of EntryProfile.PARED and EntryProfile.CARELEAVER will be updated to apply to UK Domiciled students only. The new coverage statements will therefore be as follows:

CARELEAVER

All instances for approved (fee-cap) providers, where (EntryProfile.DOMICILE = XF, XG, XH, XI, XK, XL, GG, JE or IM) and (Course.COURSEAIM begins with H, I, J, C or is M22, M26, M28, M71, M73 or M88, excluding H50, H60, H61, H62, H78, H81, I60, I61 or I81) and (Instance.COMDATE > 2013-07-31) and (InstancePeriod.EXCHIND = 3 or Null) and (any InstancePeriod.STULOAD is not equal to 0).

Update the references to EU status - to 'settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme'.

The coverage of the FinancialSupport entity will be updated to exclude EU students that are not eligible for home fees. The new coverage statement will therefore be as follows:

A more restrictive pattern value for POSTCODE data types has been applied to the schema to prevent invalid postcode formats being submitted.
