This document supplements and extends our previous account of updates to the Student Record.
Change to minimum occurrence for Engagement.STANDCODE
The change to minimum occurrence for Engagement.STANDCODE has reduced from 1 to 0. This is because an ILR output file is now required for Apprenticeship Frameworks from May 1 2017. While the engagement entity must be returned, the STANDCODE field will not need to be returned for Apprenticeship Frameworks.
Removal of Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Diploma (WELBACC) field
HEFCW have agreed that a separate field to capture Welsh Baccalaureate qualifications is no longer required, since there are codes available in QUALTYPE to capture these. Therefore the WELBACC field will be removed from the record.
Removal of code 07 – Fee waiver under government unemployed students scheme - from MSTUFEE
Code 07 - Fee waiver under government unemployed students scheme - captures a scheme which is no longer running. Code 07 will therefore be removed from the record.
Proposed Changes to Fee regime indicator (FEEREGIME)
We are not going to be changing the coverage to FEEREGIME for C17051. This is due to further analysis of the field and the implications it would have on providers. It is still our intention to review this field and we will do so for future collections.
