HESA Calendar

The HESA Calendar displays milestone dates for HESA data collections.

The calendar includes deadlines for each stage of data gathering and submission, and the dates when HESA expects to release updates to systems and coding manuals. The calendar displays dates that are currently confirmed and will be updated as future schedules are confirmed.

How to use the calendar

The calendar can be displayed in one of three 'views':

Table View presents dates for the next twelve months.

  • Click on a column heading to sort the calendar entries based upon the data in that column.
  • Click on a collection reference to see all dates pertaining to that collection.
  • Click on a HESA Date (name) to reduce the entries shown in the list to only those matching the HESA Date (name) clicked.
  • Use the date navigation buttons to move the calendar back / forward one month or the 'Go to Month' button to select a month / year to navigate directly to that month.

Calendar View presents dates for the current month.

  • Click a date to see calendar entries for that day or click on a collection reference shown for that date to display only the calendar entries pertaining to that collection for that day.
  • Within the gold-coloured results panel that is shown when a date or collection reference is selected from the calendar, click on the collection reference to show all dates for that collection.

Within the table view and the calendar view all types of date are shownby default.

Click 'Show Options to Navigate Calendar and Filter Dates' button to filter by data stream, collection, or a type of date. 

Next Milestone Date View displays the next milestone date for each of the HESA Data Collections.

  • Click on a column heading to sort the calendar entries based upon the data in that column.
  • Click on a collection reference to see all dates pertaining to that collection.

Expand Customise calendar for a provider to select a provider to only display dates pertaining to that provider based on information from the provider's regulator or by the provider.
