Heidi Plus subscription

The Heidi Plus service is now provided by Jisc, on behalf of HESA.

For providers in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland it forms part of your HESA statutory subscription and will be included as part of the HESA Subscription invoice. For those providers in England it is invoiced separately to HESA subscriptions by Jisc.

Different subscription models apply to the organisation types of Heidi Plus users. 

HE providers

English HE Providers

For providers in England, in all categories, Heidi Plus is provided by Jisc on behalf of HESA. As this is not linked to statutory requirements it is charged for by Jisc.

HESA Full Subscribers in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland

For providers that are Full Subscribers based in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, HEFCW, SFC and DfENI have confirmed that contributing data and subscribing to Heidi Plus will continue to be a requirement.

The cost of access to Heidi Plus will continue to form part of your HESA statutory subscription invoice and falls outside the scope of VAT.

These apply to those Full Subscribers in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Access to Heidi Plus will usually be managed by your local Lead Contact. This will typically be someone in your provider’s strategic planning office or equivalent. If you are unable to locate your lead contact, please contact the Jisc Heidi Plus customer success team.

Not-for-profit sector bodies

Not-for-profit sector bodies are eligible to subscribe to Heidi Plus, for further information contact the Jisc Heidi Plus customer success team.
